My article (Part 1) on the black art movement in the UK has been published today! I’ve enjoyed writing this remembering my time in London, in particular, the moment when InIVA was founded, the New Internationalism conference at Tate, and subsequent development of TrIAN. The Part 2 introducing women black artists will follow soon. I’m grateful to my friends and colleagues in the UK for having inspired me to write this series articles.
