「KANABI KOGEI+」 の1年間のトライアル成果を紹介する展覧会です。
「KANABI KOGEI+」は、金沢美術工芸大学の新キャンパスに設置された共通工房（Shared Workshops）に勤務する技術専門員によって進められている研究開発プロジェクトであり、分野横断的な制作と素材研究を通じて新しい工芸の可能性を探る取り組みとして進められてきました。
石材、木材、漆、金属、染織、陶磁、デジタル加工、写真、映像など、異なる専門領域を持つ技術専門員が、それぞれの技術と知識を持ち寄りながら制作を重ね、専門分野の枠を越えた作品制作の可能性を検証しています。
本展では完成した作品のみならず、素材理解や制作プロセス、思考の軌跡など、制作の背景にある研究的側面もあわせて紹介されます。
大学の制作環境という「知の基盤」から生まれる、新しい工芸の可能性を示す展覧会となっています。
本研究開発は、JST大学発新産業創出基金事業（JPMJSF2318）の支援を受けて実施されています。

An exhibition presenting the outcomes of the research project “KANABI KOGEI+,” developed by the technical specialists of Kanazawa College of Art, will be held in Kanazawa.
The exhibition introduces experimental works and material studies produced through interdisciplinary collaboration across multiple craft and art fields.

This exhibition presents the one-year trial outcomes of “KANABI KOGEI+,”
a project selected under the JST Program for Creating Start-ups from Advanced Research and Technology (TeSH).
The project has been developed by the technical specialists of the Shared Workshops at Kanazawa College of Art, exploring interdisciplinary collaboration through practice-based experimentation and material research.
Specialists from diverse fields—including stone, wood, lacquer, metal, textile, ceramics, digital fabrication, photography, and media—have worked across disciplinary boundaries while sharing their technical expertise and production knowledge.
The exhibition presents not only completed artworks but also the material investigations, creative processes, and conceptual explorations that have emerged from this collaborative environment.
By highlighting works generated from a university-based production platform, the exhibition offers a perspective on new possibilities for contemporary craft emerging from shared technical knowledge and interdisciplinary practice.
