未来へ向かう工芸 ― トークプログラム開催のお知らせ
2025年8月19日（火）、東京・日本橋のコングレスクエア日本橋にて、「未来へ向かう工芸」トークプログラムが開催されます。本プログラムは、工芸分野のサポーターとファイナリストが一堂に会し、次世代の工芸の可能性について語り合う場となります。
来場者にとっては、第一線で活躍する作家・デザイナーであるサポーターと直接交流できる貴重な機会です。

KOGEI ARTISTS LEAGUEについて
本プログラムは、三菱UFJフィナンシャル・グループが社会貢献活動として推進する「MUFG工芸プロジェクト」の一環です。伝統工芸の継承と革新を目的とし、若手作家に展示・販売の機会を提供するとともに、著名な工芸家や美術家がサポーターとして伴走します。
総合監修からのメッセージ
東京藝術大学名誉教授であり、プロジェクト総合監修を務める秋元雄史氏は次のように述べています。
「自分の中にある想像力を最大限に生かして、自分が考える工芸の頂点を作品で示してほしい。そこから生まれる新しい創造力を楽しみにしています。」

Crafting the Future — Talk Program Announcement
On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, a special talk program titled “Crafting the Future” will be held at Congress Square Nihonbashi in Tokyo. The event will bring together supporters and finalists of the KOGEI ARTISTS LEAGUE to discuss the future of Japanese craft.
For participants, this is a rare opportunity to engage directly with leading artists and designers who support the program.

About KOGEI ARTISTS LEAGUE
The program is part of the MUFG Craft Project, a cultural initiative by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Its mission is to support the preservation and innovation of traditional Japanese crafts. By providing opportunities for young creators to present and sell their works, and by connecting them with established artists as supporters, the project fosters creativity across generations.

Yuji Akimoto, Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University of the Arts and General Supervisor of the project, shares:
“Make full use of your imagination and show us the pinnacle of your craft through your work. I look forward to experiencing the creative energy that emerges from this new generation.”
